The ad will run in four markets where there is a high risk of election interference: Cedar Rapids, IA; Eau Claire, WI; Pittsburgh, PA; and Raleigh, NC. We will also visit each of these communities in the days ahead on The Vote Is Sacred Tour.
Bishop Budde has been a beacon of moral courage – making clear that people of faith in our country are called to practice mercy, charity and compassion, not cruelty, division or discrimination. This new ad echoes that inspiring message - and underlines why, with so much at stake, people of faith need to exercise their sacred right to vote this fall.
We need to be clear-eyed about the threats to free and fair elections. The administration is deploying a deliberate strategy to deceive voters, disruptthe operation of elections, and deny unfavorable results, making the role of faith communities and civil society more critical than ever.
This is the fourth and final ad in our Choose Love, Not ICE campaign with Protect Democracy United. We’ve invested significant financial resources in running ads – starting with our December 2025 viral ad contrasting ICE cruelty with a child singing “O Holy Night.” Now we need your help in getting our Bishop Budde’s get-out-the-vote message.
