ACTIVISM PROGRAM
As the school year begins in the United States, take a few minutes to learn from Arwa Alzraiy, a teacher and PhD candidate in Peace Education from Gaza. In July, Yousef interviewed Arwa on the Action Hour, and her testimony about her life as a student, researcher, and teacher in Gaza is haunting. Arwa shares about her experiences as a teacher before and during the genocide, Israeli restrictions on Palestinian education and grief, and how she's come to redefine what peace education means to her. It's a must read.
