Peace Perspectives
-
The Interfaith Peace Working Group brings together people from communities of faith and conscience who believe there are better ways to respond to conflict than violence. We work to build awareness, understanding, and skills around nonviolent civil resistance while connecting with others who share a vision of peace, justice, and care for our world.
-
We believe lasting peace begins with awareness, connection, and the courage to choose nonviolence. Through education, dialogue, networking, and training in nonviolent civil resistance, we help people and communities explore alternatives to violence and discover ways to put peace into action.
-
We believe peace grows through connection. IPWG networks with interfaith organizations, faith communities, peace and justice groups, and community partners to share ideas, resources, opportunities, and inspiration while building relationships that strengthen the work of peace.
